  • Ecosystem members can be nonprofit entities, for-profit entities, government organizations, meetup groups, student interest clubs, etc., provided they satisfy the following key requirements:

    • The organization is aligned with ThriveHI in the mission to diversify Hawaii’s economy away from tourism and foster the growth of the local startup and tech economy.

    • The organization contributes to at least one of the key capacities within a tech and innovation ecosystem, which include:

      • Talent

      • Capital

      • Government Support

      • Seeds of Innovation

      • Community

      • Culture Shift

    • The organization adheres to ThriveHI’s core values, namely of kuleana (responsibility), ha’a ha’a (humility), lokahi (unity), and prioritizing the well-being of Hawaii locals.

    • The organization is willing to participate in an annual survey for ThriveHI’s impact measurement.

  • ThriveHI Network Members renew their membership on an annual basis. If you decide to discontinue your membership within the ThriveHI ecosystem at any point, you can cancel at any time, and you will not be charged for the subsequent cycle. This also means that you will no longer receive the benefits associated with the paid membership and will revert back to the general membership status.
